At Jigokudani Yaen-Koen (Monkey Park) in Nagano Prefecture there are macaque monkeys known (1______) their habit of bathing in hot springs. Visited (2______) tourists the world over, there macaques are called “snow monkeys” in English.

At that time Jigokudani was a small resort town (14______) only one old inn and a vigorous hot spring.
