The other day, I dropped (1 ) a coffee shop with a friend of mine, but it was extremely crowded.
Only a table for two people (2 ) a wall was vacant, so I sat on the chair in front, while my friend went to sit on the chair to the back.
However, the space (3 ) our table and the adjacent table was too narrow, so attempting to sit (4 ) , he turned his body sideways and walked like a crab.
(5 ) the neighboring table a young man was using a PC and, unfortunately, my friend’s butt knocked (6 ) his glass of water.
And so, water splashed (7 ) the PC’s keyboard. My friend immediately said, “I’m sorry” (8 ) the young man.
The young man didn’t say anything, and using (9 ) oshibori (wet towel) he wiped the keyboard, then, with tissue paper, he continued to mop (10 ) the water from the gaps between the keys.
We thought it wasn’t (11 ) problem and started our conversation, but he remained silent, this time wiping his jeans.
(12 ) a while, he suddenly opened his mouth, and addressed my friend, “I want you to pay the cleaning fee (13 ) my jeans, so please give me your business card.”

My friend calmly refused his demand, saying, “It’s only water, and if you had moved your glass when you saw me squeezing (14 ) this narrow space, then it would not have fallen.”
I thought the coffee shop was responsible (15 ) making customers squeeze through such a small space.
The young man left his table saying, “I will consult (16 ) a lawyer.”
After a while he returned to issue this parting shot (17 ) my friend: “I don’t care about the money, but you should be ashamed (18 ) yourself,” and left.
Soon after, my friend said, “My new pants are also wet (19 ) water. I should have demanded (20 ) cleaning fee.”
